WEBLEY FOSBERY AUTOMATIC on strap over cylinder
Webley-Fosbery Self-Cocking Semi-Automatic Revolver was an unusual recoil-operated revolver designed by Lieutenant Colonel George Vincent Fosbery and produced by Webley and Son starting in 1901. The weapon is easily recognizable by the zigzag grooves on the cylinder. Second year production with matching serial # 718 on frame, left barrel wing and front of cylinder, caliber .455 Cordite, 6" ribbed barrel with front sight and maker's inscription on to flat. Original fine blue more than 90% remaining, checkered grips with minor damage, in perfect working order and very fine condition. sold
