a pair of Tanner in Hannover made pill-lock pistols, with a rotating chamber breech loading device, about .30 caliber. These pistols have the hammer on the side what we call a "mule ear".
7" round barrel with dovetail front sight, set trigger, crisp checkered grip with engraved butt cap, flared as typical for the 1850's period. Finely engraved with the mythical bandit-devil riding a goat backwards with a broom stick up the derriere.
Extremely rare pair in desirable condition $9,900.
