D. ROSS Edinburgh. Støckel: "1815 -
1839", cased pair of pocket- or muff-pistols, the screw-off barrels, caliber 32
flintlock, with decorated muzzle and a little key that fits snug into the tool to
take off the barrels for cleaning and loading. The frames are engraved with maker's name
and decorated with a shield, push safety and folding trigger, plain wooden grips. The pair
is in excellent condition. It comes in a wooden show case with a not marked
brass-escutcheon on the outside, burgundy colored lining, the barrel-key, powder flask,
bullet mold marked "110", 2 metal oil-bottles.
The scarce set is very good condition. $9,525.
