à Paris 51 Rue Lafitte made revolver, matching serial # 141, caliber 122, 6" barrel with maker's address and fixed front sight, metal as fashionable at the time kept in the white, double action only, on cylinder and frame additional L. PERRIN, revolver is in good working order and very fine condition. In a couple of books about weapons of the Civil War PERRIN is mentioned to have sold some revolvers. A rare revolver $5,000.

PERRIN & Cie. Bte. marked revolver on cylinder and right side of barrel lug, serial 547 on cylinder and left side. 3⅝" part round, part octagonal barrel with fixed front sight, notched hammer for rear sight. A floral scroll engraving is featured on the frame, 6-shot cylinder, folding trigger. Has a loading gate that swivels upward. Fitted with a one piece varnished grip. The revolver was kept in the white, now the frame has a smooth gray patina, with a darker patina on the barrel and cylinder. The grip is very fine with most of the varnish remaining. Mechanically excellent.
