a pair of heavy duty Irish double barrel pistols made by
Parkinson, Dublin, caliber .67, certainly used to hunt from a Howdah / Elephant-seat
or defend against drugged attackers on the Khyber Pass. 6½" barrel in
Damascus pattern with fixed front sight, two hammers and two triggers, ramrod
under the barrels, ½-shafted with crisp checkered grip, the locks engraved and
inscribed PARKINSON.
A rare pair in good working order and excellent
condition $6,500.
