Ludwig Loewe & Co. made legal copy of the S&W Russian model 1871. Unlike most with Cyrillic and English inscription this one is in German language. Caliber .44 Russian. Matching serial # 247 on barrel, butt and cylinder, 6½" ribbed barrel with fixed front sight and maker's inscription on top, close to 100% of the nickel plating remaining, plain wooden grips, lanyard ring.
