a pair of percussion pistols in a leather clad case decorated with brass-studs
and the initials H.S. The caliber is .52 smooth bore,
5½" round barrels.
The metal parts are kept in the white. Lock, hammer, trigger guard and butt strap
are nicely engraved,
the checkered grips are crisp, the spring is strong and the pistols are in good
working order. No markings, therefore it might be American made. Made during the 1850 -1860 period.
The red inlaid case shows some wear,
an uncommon bullet mold, screw driver and ramrod with worm fit snug,
Please remember the set was made before the Civil War. The pistols with are in
excellent condition.
