, British army revolver showing the army acceptance "broad arrow", serial # 9624, cal. .476, almost 6" barrel with fixed front sight, "tip-down" system for loading and extraction, matte army-blue. plain wooden grips. In the grip is the mark GAOLS, the old writing for jail, identifying this revolver as used in the English penal colony in Australia.
