J. DOERSCH & BAUMGARTEN, SUHL,
circa 1860 made 9mm pinfire revolver, 5¾" octagonal
barrel with for pinfire revolver typical high front sight and silver inlaid
maker's name, no visible serial #, hammer notched as rear sight. Swinging the
lever frontwards releases the barrel and the cylinder for loading and unloading
- known as Loron patent. Frame and butt strap are nicely engraved, the metal
parts are brownish, fine checkered grips, folding trigger,
lanyard ring. The cylinder bores are numbered.
The very rare revolver is in
good working order and in fine condition.
