While the few other pistols of the very rare type show harmonicas with 4 bores, this has only 3 bores for percussion. # 32 on grip together with maker's name, 3¾" octagonal barrel, pistols nicely scroll engraved and kept in the white, plain wooden grips. While the function is fine, bad storage created some pitting. However a scarce and desirable pistol $4,500.Winant's Firearms Curiosa, page 244 - 247 shows the 4-shot: "each chamber with a countersunk nipple. Pulling the ring trigger will raise the block, draw back and drop the hammer."
