retailer inscription on top of the barrel of a Tranter Single-Trigger Double-Action army sized revolver, caliber 54 bore / .45 percussion, 6" octagonal barrel with dovetail front sight, good 60% original bright blue remaining. Tranter's patent ramrod, hammer and trigger kept in the white, crisp checkered grips, good working order.
A fine condition revolver delivered in front of the Civil War with very rare dealer inscription $6,150.
