F. R. BECKHUSON OXFORD, Støckel: 1841 - 1852, cased pair of
percussion pistols with side mounted spring-dirks, cal. .45, 3" hexagonal barrels
with 2¾" swing-out blades, full checkered bag-shaped walnut stocks, furniture German
silver with very good scroll designs, some case hardening still visible on barrel and
hammer. The case is solid wood lined with purple velvet, containing combination ball
rammer and cleaning rod, bullet mold, screwdriver, barrel spanner wrench, two compartment
copper flask for powder and dispensing lead balls. Inside the lid is the embossed picture
label listing the makers ability.
Set in fine condition, very decorative and scarce
sold
