BARTELS  HOFBÜCHSENMACHER /  WIESBADEN & ZELLA. Uncommon the dovetail on enhanced engraved and octagonal end. The barrel has almost all original bright blue remaining. The frame with straps, trigger guard and butt caps lavishly engraved, fine checkered grips. # 309 in the center of the butt cap. According to Støckel C. Bartels worked for the Duke von Schwarzburg-Sondershausen and the crown prince of Anhalt-Dessau, and one can assume that one of the men received the special order.
