Mandatory proof-marked: double crown/"U". Top right on barrel housing marked
"Patent Haeussler / ADLER WAFFENWERKE / Engelbrecht & Wolff". Complete bluing
with light wear marks on grip, spot on bottom right. Small parts polished white
or color case hardened. Black hard rubber grip panels with trade mark
Adler/"MHZ" inside circle standing for Max Hermsdorff, Zella-St. Blasii, the
co-designer. Left grip panel with small flaw at the top, the right one with
longish flaw at the front. Matching-numbered magazine

one of the rarest self-loading pistols or in modern language semi-automatics built, constructed after the Deutsche Reichspatent (German Federal Patent) Nr. 176909, 22. August 1905 for Max Hermsdorff, Zella. The serial is # 1256, but according the literature Waffen-Revue No. 9, Juni 1973, there are less than 100 made. The caliber is 7.25mm, Brandt's Cartridge # 51 and rarer than the pistol. not for sale - but another one wanted
