two trigger revolver
Whitney two trigger revolver, serial # 53, 4"
octagonal cylinder with inscription E. WHITNEY N. HAVEN CT. and pole front sight,
caliber .32 percussion, 5-shot cylinder. The front trigger is to release the
cylinder to hand-revolve, the trigger inside the guard is to fire. On the
right side of the frame is additional PATENT APPLIED FOR. Varnished grips. The
revolver is nickel-plated, the barrel, trigger guard and cylinder release blued.
The function is good, the plating is worn and there are some pitted areas.
Flayderman's' # 5J-087: infringement to Colt's single action patent, only about
600 produced. $2,250.

Whitney two trigger pocket revolver
cal. .32 percussion, 6" octagonal barrel with fixed front sight and maker's name.
The brass frame shows PATENT APPLIED FOR with some blue finish remaining.
The other iron parts are grayish, the varnished grips show acceptable wear. The
front trigger is to loosen the cylinder and it can be hand-revolved.
Fine condition and in good working order.
