Støckel: receives Feb. 24 1851 patent # 13,527 for his double-action-only percussion revolver

Adams # 8499R, biggest caliber 38 bore, circa .50 percussion, 7½" octagonal barrel with retailers inscription DEANE, ADAMS & DEANE, 30 King Williams Street, LONDON BRIDGE and dove-tail front sight. The frame is slightly scroll engraved, frame and barrel bright blue with minor areas of pitting, fire blue safety on left side of frame, crisp checkered grip, generally in fine condition.
The revolver comes in its wooden show case with yellow Deane, Adams & Deane lid, lots of matching accessories especially the rare bullet mold showing REGISTERED ADAMS 28. Nov 1851 and 38 bore. All items are in fine and better condition, but the case is damaged.
A very rare set    $6,000.
