Colt Single Action Army revolver, serial # 174131, caliber .45 Colt, 5½" round barrel with one-line Hartford address, original front sight and caliber designation 45 COLT. The nickel plating is original, and the hard rubber grips are probably at Colt's San Francisco Agency replaced with a pair of great mother of pearl grips enhancing the impression. 
Exceptional revolver showing very minor use remaining 99% finish. The original letter, dated 01/09/1998, is included.
