ADAMS PATENT made revolver, early variation "double action only", serial  No. 14136R, caliber 54 bore  = circa .45 percussion,  6" octagonal barrel with dovetail front sight and DEANE ADAMS & DEANE, 30 KING WILLIAM STT, LONDON BRIDGE as retailer inscription. The revolver remains circa 50% original finish, the rest shows minor wear. Slightly engraved, crisp one-piece checkered grip. in butt a compartment for caps. The revolver comes in an red baize case with a damaged label DEANE ADAMS & DEANE, a bullet mold with R. ADAMS 28. Nov. 1851 and 54 bore. a JAMES DIXON powder flask, an empty ELEY cap tin, a C. & J. W. HAWSKLEY marked oil can, 1 screwdriver, 1 nipple driver, 1 ramrod and 1 key. The condition of the set is fine.    $4,500.
