early 1851 variation double action only, serial # 12930R, caliber .45 percussion, 6½" octagonal barrel with dovetail front sight and one line DEANE, ADAMS & DEANE, 30, King William St., London Bridge, the scroll engraved frame marked on the right ADAMS' PATENT No. 13930 R, matching number on the six-shot cylinder, frame and barrel bright blue circa 90% remaining, the case hardened cylinder is matte, the checkered grip is crisp. Showing very little usage = very fine condition. The revolver comes in a green inlaid case, bullet mold is marked 38 (bore) and R. ADAMS REGISTERED PATENT 1851, a HAWSKLEY marked powder flask, a ELEY BRO. LONDON marked tin for caps, screw driver, patent ramrod with worm, JAMES DIXON oil can. In the lid is a DEANE & SON label. The case shows the expected wear, overall fine condition $4,500.
