Colt 1849 pocket revolver, serial # 121475, made in 1856, caliber .31
percussion, 4" octagonal barrel with bead front sight and two-line maker's NEW
YORK inscription on top, 5-shot cylinder with more than 50% scene, the
metal parts are mostly gray, good plating on straps remaining, sharp
inscriptions with the exception on the left side of frame, good varnished grips.
The revolver in NRA "very good" condition.
The
revolver comes in a red lined cased set, with Colt powder flask, not marked
bullet mold, a tin containing caps, 4 combustible cartridges which appear to be
younger, and a key. The rare set in very good to fine condition
$4,500.
